8-bit Music Maker is a free Android app that transports you back to the era of retro game music. With this app, you can create your own professional compositions and soundtracks. The app offers two octaves with full scales, which means you have access to 24 sounds. If you see only one octave, swipe down to reveal the other.
The app also offers an unlimited number of tacts, and you can add more by swiping right and tapping "Add tact." You can choose note sizes from full to 16th, with 16th being the default. If you want a longer note, tap on it, and it will switch. However, the note must fit in a position of tact, and you cannot add a half-note after the middle of the tact.
